List of Online Lexicons
Polycarp has a very useful list of online lexicons.
… I’ve attained #19 on the top 50 list, and do not appear in the Biblical Studies carnival (there’s good reason for this), which is extremely well done and links to some excellent posts.
I’ve had this booklet for some time and have been intending to review it. Procrastination works, however, so it hasn’t risen to the top of the pile of things to write about until now. That’s not because it isn’t interesting or useful–not at all! In fact, this book falls right into the center of my…
I am excited about the release of Holy Bible: Mosaic NLT, just released by Tyndale House. What is even more exciting is that I have been looking at a copy they sent me for a few days, and I have been invited to participate in their blog tour for the release. In addition, Tyndale House…
I frequently recommend reading the story of the exodus through conquest as a kind of connected narrative, trying to learn from the stories. The problem I’ve discovered is that many people skip over the ceremonial and legal parts of the Bible and thus often miss important narrative points that are interleaved with those elements. The regular Kindle prices are great, but Baker is offering selected commentaries free for one day on Jan. 9 (past, alas!), Jan. 16, and Jan 23. Today’s is on James. More at Evangelical Textual Criticism.

I am making this life’s work available free to be a blessing to the body
of Christ. I was teaching at an OMS seminary in Haiti several years ago and
I felt the Lord say to my heart”make them available free”. I am trying to
follow that “word”. If you feel comfortable share this website address with
others interested in Bible study.
