Here’s another incident of mandatory religion in the Air Force (HT: Metacatholic).
Besides the fact that it is quite improper for the Air Force to provide mandatory religious indoctrination, this program clearly denigrates the faith of many who would disagree with a number of elements of the presentation.

Why do these folks want the government to pay for their convictions?

I’m not sure I agree it’s disgusting, although it may be unwise in a US forces context (even on British soil!).
I was a British MOD civil servant for seven years, and was regularly disappointed by the Buddhist content of most of our management training – occasionally explicit.
