Photo and Haiku at Quiet Paths
Every so often Christine’s photos and/or Haiku are so good that I just have to call your attention to them. Stairways is great.
Yesterday I wrote a post about the Sabbath. John, at Locusts and Honey, found a LOLCat that says it better.
… at Parableman. An exceptionally good selection of reading, and I’d say that even if I didn’t have a post in there!
Via FiveThirtyEight.com’s Significant Digits, which I read religiously and daily, I discovered the Timeline of the Far Future on Wikipedia. I am particularly concerned that in 600 million years C3 photosynthesis will become impossible.
This time it’s from my former community, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though from the Spectrum Magazine blog, which doesn’t follow the church HQ drummer. It’s The Manhattan Declaration: Approach with Caution, and it’s worth a read.
… if they’re not used after two years. What can possibly make this a good idea? (HT: The Agitator).
