One characteristic of creationist debate over the last few decades has been moving the goal posts. Every time a new fossil is discovered that fits into the evolutionary pattern for some lineage we hear the “it’s still an X” litany, followed by pointing to yet more gaps. Some of you may have noticed that I suddenly stopped using spaces after commas and some other punctuation. Well, actually I didn’t. The site theme was removing them for me due to a bug, which has now been fixed. So spaces after commas are back. If you didn’t notice, don’t let me interrupt your routine!
