  • Why I Am Blogging Less

I haven’t been very active on this blog or anywhere else over the last few weeks. That’s because work for my business has gotten pretty heavy. I even had to work with a cover designer via phone and e-mail while I entered his designs into the computer. Not being a very graphically oriented person made that was interesting, to say the least.

I still don’t know how much I’ll be able to do on this blog for the next three or four weeks, so expect posting to be sparse, and much shorter than usual when I do get to them.

  • Biblioblog Top 50 Posted

… and I got bumped to #16, which is not surprising given how little blogging I’ve been doing lately.  Come to think of it, the really surprising thing was how long I stayed in the top 10!  Thanks to Jeremy for his hard work and for “more cowbells.”

  • A Little Reconstruction

I’ve gone out on a limb and upgraded to WordPress 3.0 Beta 1, after trying it on a couple of test sites.  It’s really working quite well.  I’m rearranging some of the pieces of the blog.

Everything should be working in the meantime, except that a few sidebar items may be missing.

  • Michael Spencer – Internet Monk – Farewell!

A leading light in Christian blogging, with a challenging and varied blog, has gone on to glory after a battle with cancer. Chaplain Mike provides the news at the Internet Monk.

… at Free Old Testament Audio.  Surprisingly, considering how little I blogged last month and how much my 30 day Alexa number rose (not good!) I remain #9.

  • Congratulations Ken Brown of C.Orthodoxy

Head on over and congratulate Ken Brown. He’s headed to Göttingen, Germany for his doctorate.

  • Biblioblog Rankings for January

Thanks to Jeremy for doing all the work.  I’m at #8 amongst some pretty great company!

  • Surfacing again after Server Work

I’ve been working on servers both for my personal and business sites. I think the results are largely good, though due to the speed with which I did the work I keep finding glitches I need to correct.

I have also marked quite a few items in my RSS reader for links or comments, so I’m going to do a bit of a dump today and tomorrow catching up. Of course some of these items will probably never see the light of day because their time is past.

If you have had difficulties with the site or its feed (which I know was down for some hours), please accept my apologies.

  • Biblioblogger Amazon aStore

Jeremy at Free Old Testament Audio has created an Biblioblogger Amazon.com aStore and is creating lists of books by various bibliobloggers, including yours truly.  I encourage you to head over and check it out and consider buying through his links if you plan on buying any of those books.  Jeremy has been doing some nice things to the top 50 list.

Of course I’m not writing this because he has me listed with all my books.  No.  Not at all.

  • Server Move

This was a lateral move with the same provider, but still the database was physically moved. If you commented over the last 24-48 hours and your comment is missing, it was most likely due to the move.

If you are seeing this, you can go ahead and comment and your comment will not be lost.
