My Theological Worldview

. . . at least according to this quiz. (HT: Gentle Wisdom)

What’s your theological worldview?
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

  1. Hi Henry,
When I took the quiz a while back, my numbers came out very, very similar to yours … except the “evangelical holiness” & “neo-orthodox” labels were switched (and actually – my top neo-orthodox score was only about 80% .. certainly not as high as 93%). It is interesting that you who posted a while back that you do not refer to yourself as an Evangelical, gets one of the Evangelical tags as top spot. On the other hand, I who posted around the same time that I do want to be referred to as an Evangelical, have all the evangelical labels down in the pack. Not sure what that says about us or the quiz. (Well, we both got 0% on Fundamentalist so I guess something works πŸ™‚ ).

  2. Well, on the other hand I note that on “reformed evangelical” I rate very low, which is no surprise. There were also a number of questions on which there where two elements and I agreed with one but not the other. Answering in the center on those was the only option.

0% fundamentalist is also no surprise!

  3. Hi Henry,

Apparently the only thing I’m certain about is being a Methodist.
