Afternoon Links (9/21/07)
Just a couple of things that caught my eye:
- Fellow member of the moderate Christian blogroll Michael Westmoreland-White has written a post on the [tag]Jena 6[/tag], titled Racial Bias in the U.S. Courts: The Case of the Jena 6. He appears to have been following the case fairly closely, though this is the first time he has blogged about it, and he has some worthwhile things to say.
- The Daily Background has this post and this follow-up on someone who seemed uncertain whether the earth was round or flat, and then some even worse damage control. Check out the candid YouTube videos! (HT: Pandagon
- Not surprisingly, Quiet Paths has this excessively gorgeous picture along with some Haiku.
Enjoy!
Thanks for the link, but my name is not Westmoreland-Smith, but Westmoreland-White.
Oops! I knew that. I will correct it in the original post and leave these comments as a record of my error. Apologies!
No, problem, Henry. My wife got a good laugh over it. As you can imagine, we’ve had quite a few manglings of our last name.
