The Pensacola Pelicans won 5-2 against the Lincoln Salt Dogs tonight. Our son John Webb was not pitching. I understand he’ll be starting in Sioux Falls on Tuesday night, but our guest Brandon Sing hit a 2 run homer as well as a double, going 2 for 4. Following the double he reached third on…
Shane Raynor has returned to blogging after a summer hiatus. The Wesley Blog is back, but at the same time he announces the end of his experiment with the Wesley Daily. I’ll miss the Wesley Daily, because often Shane’s picks of a post for the day gave me good material to blog about. However, the…
Tomorrow is the 2nd anniversary of Becky Lynn Black’s homegoing. Dave has been posting some testimonies on his web site. I never met Becky, so I can’t relate personal experiences. But there is a way for me (and others) to learn from her. I’m going to post my publisher’s foreword to her book My Life…
. . . more or less. I had a fairly annoying encounter with the flu, and in the middle of that had an as yet unidentified medical problem that sent me to the emergency room. All in all this combination cut my blogging (and my writing for print) way back for a couple of weeks,…

My post is from my Participatory Bible Study Blog as usual. Thanks to Rev-Ed for a nice carnival. I divide my posting between three blogs,…

What hold over you do I have that Wayne hasnt?
Is it not the power of the “T”? Pity us poor F-eelers when we are trying to persuade T-hinkers!!
Indeed, Wayne, it’s entirely because of a conflict of personality types.
Well, actually, it’s because I pretty regularly engage Peter on theological topics whereas you and I almost always limit our conversations to Bible translation issues. That’s not a very good or logical reason, but it’s what was going through my head when I wrote the post!
