My Participatory Bible Study blog is represented in this week’s Christian Carnival CXXXVIII: The Kingdom Beacon Herald. I’ve intended to submit something for some time, and though it’s not hard, I’ve just never gotten around to selecting a good entry. It looks like a fun set of entries, including not only mine, but also this…
I find myself commenting a bit on this topic before I really feel ready to do so, but there are certain things I’d like to insert into the conversation that is being generated from Adrian Warnock’s blog, through the discussion of John Piper’s book The Future of Justification. (Some preliminary notes on the new perspectives…
Since I got started with some personal notes yesterday, perhaps I’m now in the groove, or is it a rut? Those who know me quickly become aware that I work best just short of chaos. Well, some would actually claim that I cross over into chaos. The fact is that an excessively organized workspace (in…
I have in my aging mind this idea that a younger me—say early teens—was a reasonably good gardener. Present activities do not support this, unless I have lost all the talent over the years. My garden has been very good as relaxing activity. It has gotten me out of doors more so that I get…

I have thus far only seen one valid comment sent to moderation. Unfortunately I wasn’t paying attention when setting up this blog and both turned on stronger moderation and entered…

Yet another INTP! Does it somehow go with blogging? Perhaps so, if you see the latest comments at BBB, one from Iyov and my reply.
What hold over you do I have that Wayne hasn’t?
Peter asked:
What hold over you do I have that Wayne hasnt?
Is it not the power of the “T”? Pity us poor F-eelers when we are trying to persuade T-hinkers!!
Indeed, Wayne, it’s entirely because of a conflict of personality types.
Well, actually, it’s because I pretty regularly engage Peter on theological topics whereas you and I almost always limit our conversations to Bible translation issues. That’s not a very good or logical reason, but it’s what was going through my head when I wrote the post!
