I really like this article about detecting deception from FiveThirtyEight.com. Of course, I should note that it totally supports my own view on the matter, as held before I read it!

His bill would require restaurants not to serve certain things to people who are obese. You know, those teenagers behind the counter at McDonalds would determine whether you are obese or not. More here at Junk Food Science with hat tips to The Agitator and Dispatches.
Bias in the media? Media bias against Republicans? That’s a trick question, right?
I don’t care if it is biased – the republicans are right on this one and they should stand by what they are saying.
