Working on Bloglines
A reader told me that my feed wasn’t updating in bloglines. I have confirmed that indeed it is not. I’m trying a run through the claim process to see if it will repair itself.
I will be spending most of the day at the golf tournament, or doing preparation or cleaning up. I’m appending my dad’s obituary to this post in its fully expanded version. Various papers published various portions. I have created a new Christian Carnival Archive, which includes posts to date, and also links to the previous archives, so that you can have one central place from which to locate all available Christian Carnival editions.
I don’t know how it happened, but when I moved my WordPress installation to this server, comment moderation was turned on and the settings reverted to registration required. This represents an error on my part (though I’m not sure just what), not a change in policy. Moderation is again off and any user can comment.
Shane Raynor has returned to blogging after a summer hiatus. The Wesley Blog is back, but at the same time he announces the end of his experiment with the Wesley Daily. I’ll miss the Wesley Daily, because often Shane’s picks of a post for the day gave me good material to blog about. However, the…

Have you had any luck finding out what the problem is?
Well, it started to update for me. Due to other database problems on the site, I didn’t post here yesterday, so I don’t know about that, but it caught up through June 16.
I know there are some other sites not updating properly. Hopefully they will fix those soon.
