I was never quite sure what the range of acceptable positions was on this issue when I was doing youth ministry at my church. I had one student who would comment in very derogatory ways about evolution-- she fancied herself an expert in debunking Darwin-- but I never said anything because, frankly, I wanted to be loyal to my congregation.
