This is something we can definitely agree on.  And I&#039;ll probably regret the &quot;scumbag&quot; epithet when I cool off some more.  But I&#039;m angry clear through at what he wrote, and his follow up post was, if possible, even more offensive.  

Many people on the far left feel the way he feels - it leaks out from time to time, and that sort of thing is a regular feature at DU and Kos.  Those people need to be called on it, loudly, publicly, and repeatedly.  They can speak - and others can answer.  We simply cannot allow another generation of soldiers to be abused and spat on for following lawful orders and keeping their oaths.  We&#039;ve had a few incidents, but it is still quite rare, we need to make sure that remains the case.

I really appreciate it when people like you, who disagree with what&#039;s going on in Iraq, still make the effort to separate the policy from those who implement it.  It gives me hope that we&#039;re not going to have to relive the worst part of the 70s.</description>
